Sadly, they fell victim to a brutal "home job" cropping (the ears are cut with a knife, then cauterized with a heated iron or other hot object). Many Pit Bulls suffer this fate.

Lily's ordeal has made her a little fearful when restrained for toenail clipping or medication, but otherwise she still loves humans.

Best Buds

Lily and Phantom have "play dates" several times a week... they can't wait to see each other!
