Excellent site created by Diane Jessup, author of The Working Pit Bull and The Dog Who Spoke With Gods and founder of the Law Dogs USA program (which supplies working American Pit Bulls to law enforcement agencies for use in drug and explosives detection. Ms. Jessup is, in our opinion, the foremost expert on the origins and versatility of the American Pit Bull and American Staffordshire Terrier. Plenty of info on breed history, training, temperament, dog sports, dog care, rescue, and breed specific legislation.
A virtual shelter and resource center for pit bull owners of Pit Bulls, American Staffordshire Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, and mixes thereof. Lots of information on these breeds, fighting BSL, training, and spaying/neutering programs. Special features include "Poppy's Place," a fun and informative section for children, and an online community with links, positive pit bull info, and an online forum.
